Our advisors help students shine on paper and stand out from the crowd. How do you stand out in a pool of 20,000 applicants? You tell an eloquent and memorable story. We help students tell their story. Our advisors are accomplished writers with proven success in college admissions. After signing up for our ESSENTIALS or SELECT application service, your child will have the benefit of working with one of our dedicated advisors through every step of the college application process.

In the past decade, the crowd of graduating high school students has gotten larger and "smarter." This year, nearly three million graduating high school students (up 28% over the past 10 years) will compete for roughly the same amount of space at selective college colleges and universities. Increased demand has led to increased selectivity. High school students are also getting better grades than ever before. 42% of recent college-bound students reported grade point averages of A+, A, or A-according to the College Board. Ten years ago, the figure was just 32 percent.

Our mission is helping students stand out from this growing and increasingly accomplished crowd of college applicants. Our advisors are graduates of America's most selective colleges and universities. For years, we've helped students gain acceptance into their first-choice colleges. From organizing a list of desirable colleges based on a student’s aspirations and family's preferences, to outlining and revising a student’s personal statements and essays, to planning college visits and preparing for interviews with admissions counselors, our advisors work with your child every step of the way until applications are in the mail and acceptance letters arrive home. Additionally, we help families decipher crucial scholarship and financial aid information as well as academic, housing, campus safety and extra-curricular options so that each of our students makes an informed choice and smooth transition once admitted to the college of his or her choice.

There is an initial student/parent consultation with your dedicated First Class Prep advisor to assess student and family needs, preferences and goals. Your advisor will work with your child exclusively through each step of the college application process, providing ongoing support and updates. The advisor meets with your son or daughter on a weekly or bi-weekly basis depending on your chosen level of service (we offer a basic Essentials service as well as a premium Select service). Scheduling is flexible and parents are updated as much or as little as they prefer. If you would like to have a First Class advisor work with your child on his or her college applications, or if you would like to learn more, please contact us today.
